Veodia.com Review: Live Video Broadcast & Podcast Application (Ep.15 – SL20071015)

Sherman Hu demonstrates Veodia live video broadcast and podcast application

Episode 15 of this podcast demonstrates Veodia.com’s live video broadcast & podcast web-based application. This application is suited to businesses and bloggers alike. I can see this work well for live conferences or events that need a publishing immediacy – either for ‘raving fans’ or for premium customers.

On this video podcast, I showcase how to login, modify settings, create a broadcast and review what we recorded.

Vincent, thanks for your feedback and heads up on NowLive - you going to be in Atlanta for SN Live in April? Maybe we'll catch up then ;-)

Hey Sherman,
Haven't seen you since you were at the System seminar in Chicago.
Great information about Veodia.com. There is another interesting company called NowLive.com. This live broadcast source is also free and has a terrific player people can add to their site.

Hi Sherman, Enjoyed the tutorial about Veodia. Thanks for your diligence allowing us to keep up with the new communication technology. Very interested in this information. Have a fabulous day Michael

@ David: Thanks man - appreciate your support and taking the time to check out the podcast! ;-) Glad to pass on these value-adds - thanks once again - Cheers David!

@ Sharon: Thanks for supporting this podcast! Sharon, honestly I upload my pics via FTP software to my host account - so I don't ever upload pictures, audio or video to my host account via my blog. Long story short, I don't have a recommendation for that plugin you need.

@ Wayne: Thanks Wayne! Appreciate a pro radio guy like you checking out my podcast and getting super value from my podcast - whoohoo! Keepin' it real, eh? Stay cool, and keep on being a maniac! ;-)

Thanks for all the comments, folks! Keep 'em coming! ;-)

Sherman, your information is brilliant! I love feelings like we are watching you try new things. I liked that you didn't edit it when it said error...You teach us valuable info and I just want to say thanks ...I love this pod, blog, video casting info!
Wayne

I noticed that you're using PodPress with your WordPress interface. Somehow I feel that PodPress is more suited for blogs that carry primarily Podcasts and Video Blogs. For example the image upload functionality is no longer enabled. Can you suggest another plugin that supports a text heavy blog that might have occasional Podcasts?

You Rock, Sherman!

Such a cool demo...you juggled it all so well.

Thanks for the tip. I know lots of people that will want to hear about this cool-tool.

Keep up the great work!

David
