Sherman Hu: Jim Kukral is here, at the Sharesale party.
Jim Kukral: Yes, we’re here and getting ready for BlogWorldExpo.
Sherman: Yeah, we missed you at dinner.
Jim: Yeah, you did. I missed dinner. I was at P.F. Chang’s.
Sherman: Oh, were you?
Jim: Yeah. I was.
Sherman: I would have loved to go to P.F. Chang’s.
Jim: It’s pretty good.
Sherman: Yeah, yeah, yeah. How many people were there?
Jim: It was just four of us, but we missed you guys.
Sherman: I know.
Jim: What do you think about the show tomorrow? Are you excited about it?
Sherman: I’m excited about it.
Jim: Yeah, me too.
Sherman: I’m speaking at 1:30 tomorrow. What time are you speaking?
Jim: I’m at 11:45, I think.
Sherman: OK, all right. So, I’ll try to attend yours, if I…
Jim: You’re not going to learn anything at mine.
[laughter]
Sherman: Just for support!
Jim: I’m talking about basic stuff. This is a pretty neat camera you’ve got here.
Sherman: Yeah. This is something I’ll use to post footage up on Facebook or my blog.
Jim: OK.
Sherman: It’s a Panasonic 3CCD camera. But you’re using the flip, right?
Jim: Yeah. I got the flip here, and it’s not as good a quality as a 3CCD.
Sherman: But you’ve got to hold it still in a lower light, right?
Jim: Yeah. It does the job.
Sherman: Yeah.
Jim: I could turn it on now. And I’ll start recording this. You recording me.
Sherman: Yeah.
Jim: Hey, how are you doing?
Sherman (looking at Jim’s camera): Hi, this is Sherman Hu from ShermanLive.com.
Jim: And Sherman, what are you speaking about tomorrow?
Sherman: Blogging. Basically, picking a blogging platform and how to leverage blogs and podcasting, video and social media for profit.

Sherman: Yeah.

RE: TubeMogul, I use it too, but when I was trying to upload, there was something about a Flash 9 update conflict and the Leopard OS I had installed, so didn’t want to fuss with that at that time. Thanks for reminding me

@Jim: Upgraded Flash 9, TubeMoguled the video, uploaded an MP4 and now its FLV above.
BTW, what format do you upload to TubeMogul? I assume the FLIP creates an AVI, do you convert then upload, or just upload the AVI? Curious…
When I’m on my pc, I import the avi file and convert out of Sony Vegas into .wmv.
On my big power macs, we render to .mov because it’s supported by all the upload sites.
