Traffic Geyser offers more than just video distribution. Consider your needs, your budget, your objectives. If you're planning to use video for marketing on a consistent, monthly basis, and $97/m is fine for your budget, then TrafficGeyser will work well for you as an all-in-one solution.

If you're testing out video marketing, consider using the other free services I recommend, and determine your next steps from there. Ultimately, your business, your choice.

Very well written article. As a contrasting perspective, spending $97/mo. to immediately compete in, if not dominate a niche on the organic search results is priceless. Tubemogul and all the other tasks needed to match Geyser's service are not really free when factoring in the time to do them all…on each video you make! Make a few sales becaue of Geyser, and all of a sudden $97 is no longer an issue. Make those sales because Geyser gives you SEO to rank high. But hey, just my humble opinion!

You may be right in a longer text description, its really up for testing to see how accurate that theory is.

After broadcasting via TM or TG, simply login to your YouTube account and add/modify the text description to make it longer.

Thank you King Blogger, I will try to exercise some brevity. I had actually been told that you are more likely to get higher search rankings in YouTube if you had longer descriptions. I suppose your comment dashes this theory.

And sure, I will watermark my videos in future.

250 could be a limitation but I look at it as a challenge to overcome. It requires the art of brevity while including my important search terms.

There are many video publishers who achieve millions of views from focusing on well-crafted video messaging.

Lastly, consider watermarking your videos for direct traffic as super viral videos get passed around without an opportunity to have any text descriptions to go along with it at all.

For me, the biggest drawback to using TubeMogul is that the description is limited to 250 characters. Not enough if you want to get a decent listing with keywords.

I have personally used Traffic Geyser and have a client who uses them and, I like what I've seen. My opinion though is that if you have the extra time needed to use the other services and $97 could be a stretch for you on a monthly basis, I agree that you can get the same results if not better with the services you've mentioned.

I won't use the "if you're not a techie use TG" arguement because my experience is that people who claim they are not techie are LESS likely to use TG than they are the individual services because once inside, they get overwhelmed, despite the greate training videos.

My recommendation is that people start with one of the services you've mentioned (TubeMogal.com for example), master it for a couple of weeks and then add another. This is better than paying $97 per month and using only one or two of their services or worse still, not using it at all because you're overwhelmed.
