Thanks to Chris Brogan (www.ChrisBrogan.com) for raising awareness of using Utterz for voice capabilities or voice feedback for a website or blog.

As I’m working with Paul Young, author of The Shack (www.TheShackBook.com) and his blog (www.WindRumors.com), we discussed possibilities of giving his readers a ‘voice’ and using Utterz may fit that bill.

Thanks Chris.

  1. Now to make it TRULY two-way, I’d recommend MyChingo, a great audio program that lets you have messages back and forth between your audience. A great way to build a conversation loop, and free! : )

Thanks for the heads up on that, Chris! FYI, MyChingo is no longer free, though inexpensive. And they’re evolving into MobaTalk shortly.

Good way to have 2-way conversations on your blog ;-)

  3. Hey Sherman!

This is exciting news! I have been involved in “restaurant and hospitality marketing” for more than two decades and I think this is one heck of an idea for restaurant operataors, hotel keeprs, and cruise line operators.

If you advertise to your guest (e.g. right at the table with a tent card) that you have a neat blog; and you would like them to give you a piece of your mind if you’re not happy…or accolades when something is great…they can do so by checking out your blog, and using Utterz, they can leave their opinion or suggestion for improvement.

Most folks don’t complain in restaurants or other service industry outlets….they just don’t ever come back; and they tell at least one dozen of their colleagues about the “bad time” they had at ‘XYZ restaurant’.

This is a great way to nip that in the bud…a bit. It is also telling your customer that
