Very cool vid, Sherman!
There is a lot of cool mind-mapping software out there. I’m still old school with colored pens & paper, b/c I seem to get the creative juices flowing faster when I do.
But of course I also know creative folks who swear by the software.

Sherman, Thanks for the introduction. I have been using MindMap for the past year and have benefited from laying out my business processes using this software.
This software looks like it will be more ‘fun’ to use. I just downloaded it and will take a look this weekend.
Would you be able to explain this type of blog / forum

Hi Sherman, thanks for sharing a very informative video.
I’m a bit interested about mind mapping software. I’ve seen different videos about mind mapping but the one you’ve shared is one of the best.
Thanks for the video Sherman.
There are some great videos over on the novamind web site too, like the ones on their home page at http://www.novamind.com – much more content rich about what they can be used for etc.

Novamind is a goof software for both Win and Mac platforms. Its platform, along with most of the others, are static, and have their purpose.
I personally have a few static mindmapping apps too. But I prefer TheBrain’s PersonalBrain for its dynamic nature, cross-linking etc that reflects how I really think – so my brainstorming and thinking is on my PersonalBrain.
When I have to present a session online or at a conference, I still use the PersonalBrain.
However, if I need to present a step by step mindmap for customers, then a static mindmap works.
Hey Sherman!
I’ve been using mind-meister, the free version has some limits, but it is pretty good. The man thing for me is that it is web-based, so I can log in at the office and again at home and pick up where I left off.

Thanks a mil for the headsup on the Brain software, Sherman – love that the basic version is free. Downloading now as I type! I’ll keep ya posted. I plan to use to organize my entire life: biz, personal, RV travel plans – the works! heehee
Hi Sherman:
I enjoyed your video’s. I will be hosting a 2 day visual mind mapping conference in the Greater New York City Area on Oct 2-3, 2008. Check out visualmapper.org/blog for more information. I am available for interviews if you would like more information.
Thanks
