As awesome as Sierra is, she has her faults, and she recognizes them.
One of them? Perfectionism.
Yes, that blood-sucking, energy-draining dis-ease that binds you with immobility because everything has to be “just right”. We had to shatter the control that PERFECTIONISM had on her psyche and actions. And boy, did we do just that!
THE BATTLE
During the last 15 minutes of our 3rd session, I setup Sierra up to “BATTLE with her ENEMY”.
During those 15 minutes, which felt like forever, I didn’t let her succumb to her old habits. I was in the proverbial ring with her, helping her FIGHT and crumble this ENEMY.
She was SHAKING with nervousness and kept on exclaiming…
“OMG! OMG! I can’t believe I’m doing this RIGHT NOW! OMG!”
You had to be there! Come to think of it, I have the recording!

Alas, she was sweaty and bloody after this intense battle and she arose VICTORIOUS!! BOOYAH!!
